It began last night at sundown, but we were traveling, so I wasn't able to tonight I want to say "Hanukkah Sameach (Happy Hanukkah)"!! ๐Ÿ•Ž๐Ÿ•ฏโœก "! ๐Ÿ•Ž

Hanukkah is also known as the "Festival of Lights" on the Jewish Calendar.

I love the fact that Hanukkah always comes before Christmas during this time of year on our calendar...reminding us that the Light of the Lord has come! I love celebrating both!!

๐Ÿ•Ž๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŒŸ #HappyHanukkah

It is a wonderful reminder of the faithfulness of God, and His miraculous Divine provision (the lamp burning miraculously for 8 days without oil). Lighting the candles also reminds me that in the midst of the darkness, the Light of the world came, in a lowly stable, in a place that no one was expecting...He came. He brought that light to share with all mankind, and to bring us out of darkness and into His marvelous light! ๐Ÿ•ฏ๐ŸŒŸ #LightOfTheWorld

Regardless of when it actually happened (no I don't believe it probably happened in December), He came. And that is what we celebrate at Christmastime...that the Light came, and made a way for all of us! ๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฅฐ #TheMeaningOfChristmas #JesusIsTheReasonForTheSeason

In the darkness, may His light continue to shine more than ever!
