THE WATCHMEN'S CRY
This is something that not many understand about true #Watchmen intercessors & prophets...
They grieve deeply. Not only do they grieve when disasters happen, but they actually grieve before they happen. Sometimes they don't know exactly what is coming, but they can feel a disaster or tragedy is coming, and their soul begins to grieve as if it has happened. This is often painful in their soul and their bodies. They can feel it strongly.
Several within our Watchmen Alliance felt this terrible grieving over this last week, some for days before the deady flooding that hit Central Texas. Some were in other parts of Texas, and they felt it even stronger than normal. Only after it occurred were they aware of what they were grieving and travailing for. They felt a tragedy coming, but were unsure what it would be or where.
This is something that is rarely talked about in prophetic circles. How the watchmen grieve and are filled with sorrow in their spirit & souls, yet sometimes they don't know exactly what is coming or where, but they sense it with every fiber of their being.
Even if they do go into intercession & prayer, the intense grieving and sorrowful intercession often will not relent until after the event has happened. They can try to release the burden to the Lord, but many times, it will not release for some time.
I have experienced this myself at times, and it can be very difficult to process through, and even more difficult to describe. Sometimes they will get a sense of what is coming, or where, but not always. Many times, they simply have to pray in the spirit and continue to ask the Spirit to guide their prayers.
This is not an easy burden to bear. It makes it even more difficult because they don't feel they can explain much of these things to others within the body, and many think of them as strange and "not normal". Let me assure you...they are not normal. They are watchmen intercessors, and they are burdened of the Lord. They are travailing over things that are to come. They are in deep intercession to perhaps diminish or prevent what is coming. They feel the weight of it, and the grief of what will be lost.
Because they are usually of the strong "feelers" type, they already feel things deeply, so when you add on the grieving in this way, they often can seem depressed and heavy...but really it is something that they have to work and process through, learning more and more of how to release that burden to the Lord.
Yes, they can learn more to release these burdens, and at times that is needed...but let me tell you, that is much easier said than done when you are a watchmen. We often sense what is coming, and even sense how much of it cannot be changed, no matter how much we intercede. That is heavy, and yet we try to continue in the joy of the Lord, and in doing what He has called us to do.
It is my job to help the watchmen in this hour - to help them understand these burdens, how to process through them, how to not feel as lonely in the call, and how to release more of it to the Lord after much prayer & intercession. I'm doing what I can in this.
But may I say ~ the burden of the watchmen intercessors isn’t an easy one, and the burden of the watchmen prophets are even harder. It is also my job to help the body to begin to understand these "rare breeds" within the body. To help others to realize we need to try to understand them more, to learn how to work with them better, and even to help carry their burden when they are gripped with this kind of grief. They need our support...not our disdain, our push-back, and our misunderstanding.
I'm praying that many within the body, especially leaders, will begin to try to embrace the watchmen that they know. Try to get to know them, even if they seem to live in a different realm and have a different call than most. They are not less than the other members of the body, just because they are different...but they are vitally important to knowing what is coming, and how He is wanting us to respond in this hour.
This much I know ~ it is the hour of the Watchmen, if it ever has been, and He has called them forth for such a time as this!⌛️
Saints of God ~ Pray for the Watchmen... help them, listen to them (even if you don't fully understand...try to!), and let's help bear the burdens of this vital gift.

For thus the Lord said to me: “Go, set a watchman; let him announce what he sees". - Isaiah 21:6
But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand. - Ezekiel 33:6
