by Amanda Shiflett 🔹Entering the Door ~ Taking New Ground🔹 Welcome to a new season! Today is the first day of Autumn, and we are on the 2nd full day in this New Year of 5778...the year of stepping over the threshhold into the open door that is before you! Let me go ahead and say that you may have to fight to get through the open door that the Lord is opening this year. Many have sensed that the first part of this year of 5778 would be tumultuous and somewhat difficult, and I am sensing the same. We will have to contend to enter through the gate into our future, and possess what the Lord has for us in this new season. Although many have fought intensely for some time, and were hoping they would get some reprieve in this new season, it is still a time where we will have to battle to move fully through the gate into the new level He has for us. However, I sense the Lord is giving an extra measure of grace for those who have been warring, and there will be an ease and peace in the battle that has not been there in this past season. We will be warring from a new level & place of authority in Him! 🚪⏫ The Lord would say to those who have fought and remained true & pure in this last season ~ "You have fought well, My beloved one, and although you have some scars from the battles in this last season, I will use those scars as reminders of all you have overcome in Me! You will stand in more confidence and assurance when you face the enemy, and you will sense the new strength that I am pouring out upon you even now. This strength will begin to show forth in all you do and say, and the enemy will sense it as well, and will know exactly who he is dealing with...Not one who will shrink back, but one who will war, and having done all, will STAND, knowing that I AM is with them and goes before them! Well done, My warriors, for you have stood your ground in this last season, although it was hard...but in this next season, you will advance, and you will see My Kingdom come in ways you have never seen before! It is time...IT IS TIME...for your manifesting!" ⏳⏰ 🔹Reverence & Awe🔹 I've never known a year that began with so much shifting and changing, even leading up to this new season. We can't forget that we are in a time of transition...this next week is known as the "Days of Awe", between the New Year (Rosh Hashanah) and the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). As I was considering these days of transition, I read some verses in Hebrews today that spoke so clearly to me about this time, and what I have been sensing for this next week specifically. I truly believe this is something we need to focus on, and begin to pray into: "See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, how much more will we not escape, if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying - 'Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.' Now this, 'Yet once more', indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may worship God acceptably with reverence and awe. For our God is a consuming fire!" ~Hebrews 12:25-29 During these Days of Awe, I sense we really need to heed to these verses in Hebrews, and by the Lord's grace, offer to Him acceptable worship, with much reverence and awe. Some have heard me say this over the years, but it bears repeating. There have been many in the body of Christ who have thrown out reverence with religion. Religion and the religious spirit must go...but in this time, we need to return to reverencing the Lord God Almighty, the Supreme and Only God, the Maker of heaven and earth! The Lord is now beginning to return His body to a place of standing in reverence and awe before His Holy Presence! He is returning the true fear of the Lord to His Church...and we will begin to see this and sense it in many different ways in this next season, beginning to increase even from this next week I believe! The Lord is also raising up 5-fold leaders in His body who will preach and declare this reverence, awe, and fear of the Lord to His people once again. A great spirit of repentance will accompany their words, and many will experience the true "fear of the Lord" for the first time. We must always remember, that our God is a consuming FIRE! 🔥🔥🔥 🔹Shakings🔹 I feel there will be much shaking in this next season, beginning even this next week during these Days of Awe...shaking both in the natural and in the spiritual. Things in governments & governmental structures will shake, and many things will be exposed, as well as shakings within the Church itself. These "shakings" may go beyond this transition season (I sense they might), and the full exposings may come a little later after the shakings...but they will come. I believe the earthquakes that have been occuring are a prophetic sign of this shaking that has already begun, and yet there will be more...even in unlikely places where we haven't typically heard of many earthquakes. I am praying for mercy and protection for God's people during these quakings, as well as for their property. Please pray this with me! 🙏 The Lord is shaking many things out of their place, and many "structures" that have been a hazard to many will come down during this time...so that He can build His structures solidly there. There will also be people shaken out of their place, if they have not heeded to the Lord's call to repent during this time.
