ALWAYS REMEMBER THE WHY!
For those who are called to serve the Lord in ministry in any capacity, and most especially those called into the 5-fold offices... #RememberYourWhy
It is critical that you never forget why you went into ministry to begin with. Always go back to the "why". If it wasn't to serve the Master, and devote your life to Him, and His service, then it is the wrong reason. If it is for fame, money, power, influence, popularity, or any self-indulgent reasons... then when the going gets tough, when storms surround you, and all hell breaks lose, you will lose your way, you will fall, and you will give up.
Our devotion is not to "the call", or anything that goes with the call, our devotion is to the One who called us. The One who anointed us for His service, to do the work of the Kingdom. It is easy to get off, to get caught up in the politics, the "who's who", the platform of ministry, especially when so many have made it about these things now (which it should never be about)...so we must always be careful to come back to the "why".
What did you experience when He called you, when He let you know that He was calling you for a specific service for Him? Go back to the why, and refocus your heart and your gaze on the One who called you, the One who you swore to serve all the days of your life. Ministers fall when they take their eyes off the Master, and the "why".
The calling is never more important than Him... Jesus (Yeshua), our Lord and King. Never let the call distract you from the King! It is not about us...it is ALL ABOUT HIM! 👑 🙌🔥💖
One final thought...
The Word of God tells us in Romans that all things work together for our good. But actually it doesn't say just that. It says all things work together for good...but specifically to those who love God, and those who are the called according to His purpose. It is important that we recognize in this verse that we need to love Him, and be called according to His purpose...then all things will work together for our good. #LoveGod #CalledAccordingToHisPurpose
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
~ Romans 8:28
"Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue..." ~ II Peter 1:2-3
